Professional Development Opportunities
WREC aims to be the best and foremost professional association for the early childhood field. Our professional development and preparation systems support seamless progression for early child care and education professionals to advance their education and careers.
Professional development is a continuum of learning and support activities designed to prepare individuals for work with and on behalf of young children and their families, as well as ongoing experiences to enhance this work. These opportunities lead to improvements in the knowledge, skills, practices, and dispositions of early childhood professionals. At WREC, our professional development is aligned and grounded in the national standards and delivered in innovative ways.
WERC understands that academic institutions boast the knowledge and resources to deliver the best quality professional developments to early childhood professionals and therefore pools together the resources within Wesley Partner Universities and tailor made the training programs relevant to the needs of frontline teachers and practitioners in the early childhood education.
