Wesley Education Research Center (WERC)
In response to the needs of affiliated schools, Wesley Education Research Center is established to promote high-quality early learning for all young children, birth through age 8, by connecting early childhood practice, policy, and research within Wesley Schools and beyond. We work to advance a diverse, dynamic early childhood experiences for Wesley children and their families and are committed to supporting all who care for, educate and work on behalf of young children.
Wesley Education Research Center comprises ten affiliated chapters with preschool programs, eight partnership colleges with specialized training in early childhood development and three experimental clinics that help to prepare early childhood professionals towards a successful career in the field. Under the leadership of Wesley Education Research Center, we all commit to advancing the principles of Progressive Education and delivering on the promise of high-quality early learning. Together, we work to achieve a collective vision: that all young children thrive and learn in a society dedicated to ensuring they reach their full potential – be themselves and be the Best they can.
